Star Wars The Force Awakens American Space Opera Film

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens) is an American epic space opera film directed by J. J. Abrams. The seventh installment in the Star Wars film series starings John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker. The story is set approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983).

The Force Awakens is produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Lucasfilm and Abrams' Bad Robot Productions, and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and scheduled for release on December 18, 2015 in United States.
