Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will defend his WBO Welterweight title against the undefeated American Chris Algieri, the event held at Cotai Arena in Macau China, the former Portuguese colony of Macau.
Manny Pacquiao retained his WBO welterweight belt via unanimous decision against Chris Algieri in Macau. Pacquiao knocked Algieri down six times during the fight and had him nearly out on his feet a couple times but Algieri withstood the onslaught and lasted the full 12 rounds.
The Scorecards given a 119-103 victory on two judges scorecards and 120-102 on the other card favor to Manny Pacquiao. Algieri six knockdowns and forced one standing with the count of eight for the win.
Pacquiao improved his record to 57-5-2. Algieri is now 20-1.
