Megan Young faces disqualification Miss World as her topless photos resurfaced

Megan Young increased her chances of taking home the first ever Miss World title to the Philippines by being one of the 10 finalists in the Top Model Competition. This is a great addition to her Top 11 finish in the Beach Fashion contest two weeks ago. But as Megan moves on top of the Miss World point system and to the crown, her topless photos in Rogue Magazine start to dampen her chances, similar to what the photos did to her unsuccessful bid to join Binibining Pilipinas.

The International Business Times, a UK-based news agency where the headquarters of the Miss World Organization is also based, published on its website www.ibtimes.co.uk that Megan's topless poses in the March 2012 issue of Rogue Magazine, a magazine circulated in the Philippines, "has surfaced and drawn ire from the fans."

"Rules are rules when it comes to the Miss World beauty contest. It seems that contestants taking their clothes off is a clear breach of the laws", says one user who sent a letter to IBTimes UK but she requested anonymity. I am not sure though if she cited specific laws in the Miss World charter or if there is that law. God knows what other jealous contestants can do to put Megan down now that she is leading the contest together with Australia's Erin Victoria Holland, Brazil's Sancler Frantz, France's Marine Lorphelin, Italy's Sarah Baderna, Spain's Elena Ibarbia and Ukraine's Anna Zayachkivska. It's intriguing though how the letter sender requested anonymity.

"A beauty queen is somebody that is good role model inside and out and obviously is a beautiful person. It's not just about exterior beauty; a beauty queen has to have outstanding morals, elegance, femininity and class. Beauty queen should be seen as role models and not sex object", the letter further said. IBTime UK reported though that the Miss World Organization is "readying to host all 130 official candidates" and that "Miss Philippines remains to be listed on the pageant's official website." The article is just published on September 26, 2 days before the coronation night and is badly written by Sanskrity Sinha. the articles publish by the lifestyle hub.
